MacKenzie Machine & Design, Inc. is a third generation owned machine shop presently located in Hingham, MA. The company is now owned and operated by Neal MacKenzie.
The company was founded in 1958 by Neal’s father, Leslie MacKenzie, and was originally located and operated at his residence on Mill Lane in Hingham, MA. In 1985, we found it necessary to relocate to the South Shore Industrial Park in Hingham, MA . In 1997, because of our continued growth we relocated to Weymouth Street in Rockland, MA where we remained for 10 years. In 2007 found it necessary to relocate again to our current location at 80 Sharp Street in Hingham, MA.
Our 7500 sq. ft. facility accommodates five CNC Milling centers, three CNC Turning centers and many manual machining centers.
In March 2004 the company received a Grant Award from the Massachusetts Division of Employment and Training to train our employees for ISO 9001:2000 and in November we achieved our certification (certification no. 4359/04).
